대한신경퇴행성질환 학회 창립(준비위원장: 서울대의대 신경과학연구소장 서유헌교수)을 기념한 국제 심포지엄이 오는 14일 오전 9시부터 6시까지 워커힐 호텔, 무궁화 홀에서 국내외 치매, 파킨슨병, 루게릭병, 뇌 영상분야 등의 세계적 석학들이 가운데 개최된다.
이날 창설될 기초의학, 생명과학, 임상의학의 모든 학문분야를 통합한 대한신경퇴행성질환 학회는 국가가 “뇌연구촉진법”에 의거 뇌 연구 특히 뇌질환 연구를 활성화하기 위해 추진하는 제2단계(2008-2017) 뇌 연구 촉진 시책을 마련하는데 중추적 역할을 담당하게 된다.
